ok so i got the lock plate off and down to trying to remove it but im a little confused
also i dont have a key , the reasoning for replacing the cylinder/

is the red arrow where i knock a piece down ?

and what do i need to hold down to get it to slide out

also the green arrow there was a piece underneath the contacts that
fell back into the steering column what can i replace it with and what do those contacts do exactly?

thanks

The contacts the green arrow point to are for the key buzzer. They just slide out and there is a spring retainer that holds them tight.

This is the slot to break open to release the switch (the small one on the right)

The black tab needs to be depressed to remove the lock cylinder.

thanks for the pics makes it so much easier to grasp.

so when i open that do i put a small flat head thru and pull down or lift up?
and pull the ignition cylinder at the same time

i dont think my new cylinder has a black tab like that
it has a black piece similar but i think its the buzzer thingy

also anyone know where i can get the spring for the buzzer since it fell into the column
