I just bought a 74 nova ss about 3 weeks ago with tax money. I was told it was a ss and the only emblem there was, was the one in the front grille with a SS on my steering wheel. I got it for 2200$ and it hasnt ran in at least 12 years. I am 27 from central coast CA and this is my first classic car. I bought a nova because it was the car my dad was in the process of restoring when he passed away 18 years ago. I found this six months prior to purchase from a reply from a craigslist add that I sent out looking for a nova. He replied and I offered to barter anything and everything I had worth anything. I then offered him more money to hold it for me and he did for six months. Now here I am with questions and concerns that I don't even know yet but I'm sure will pop up as I keep on working.

Thanks guys

i appreciate it and i am looking forward to learn everything i need to know, and hopefully meeting some new people in the process. From what i have seen i am not goin to have any problem getting any and all questions answered. As you can see its going to be a long process, but thats what i wanted. I got this car started twice, carb is being cleaned, body parts are getting removed and painted. Cant wait and excited that i found steves...
