Can someone tell me what the red wire with black tape is for in the image below? I would also like to know what type of blade terminal is used to connect these wires to the plug? I need to determine if it's necessary to repair or remove.

This should be the male terminal needed and it is for a 10-12 gauge wire. The company sells other ones for different gauge wires too.

Thanks, Jim! I ordered a set of those terminals and figured out that cable feeds all the power to the cabin. Seems kinda essential.

Hey Peyton,

what was the other end of the wire you asked about with the eyelet/post terminals connected to?
