I spent about four hours on sat removing bad metal.
as expected there's more rust then it first appeared. I peeled back the top patch, it was mostly just tacked in place but still a real PITA to remove. I found a few washers in the cavity, and lots of rust.

Moving under the car I cleaned up the area around the holes in the toe board, and they kept getting bigger so I stopped as Ill be removing the area around them. Then I removed the bottom "patch" and lots of rust dust. The patch was about 1 foot X 4" and was across the subframe but not welded or sealed above the subframe.

I cut out more cancer and here's what's left. The bent piece on the right will be put back into place and spot welded when I install the floor board, as the edge of the floorboard goes in place before it.

Here's the rest:
Fab and weld in a piece for the Firewall bracket tip area
Fab and weld in a piece for the toe board
Cut and fit, then weld in the floorboard piece
Patch the tranny hump
fil in the gaps on the bottom DS front floor pan area
Prime and undercoat the underside as needed.
Prep prime paint the floor then add insulation,
Install tranny then carpet, then seats and seat belts
Install rest of driveline like clutch linkage, Drive shaft, e brake, new fuel line.
Install headers, exhaust Distributer
Add fresh gas and drive it.
