I have a '73. I don't particularly care for the size of the '73 bumpers. I would like opinions, suggestions, comments, instructions, pictures regarding either tucking or shaving my existing bumpers to reduce their size/massiveness or possibly changing them to the smaller '69, '70, '71 style bumpers. What say you? Thanks, Jim

Nice project, as for the bumpers, i sent a pm about them, my front is real tight, its up to the grill and i removed all lower grill/bezel trim, if you do this on yours, install the bezels first or you will have to aim your headlights down and install them from under the car, heres a pic of mine for motivation. also since you are modding the body a little check out my tail lights , you need two pair to do it all red, pm me if you want details. Later!

Bumpers

Hey guys. Thanks for the info. Definitely don't want to move the gas filler neck... Way too much like work. Tucking looks as though it will be easier. Plus, I can always use some visual tricks to reduce the perceived size of the bumpers when I paint the car. See the 2009 Super Chevy Nova Annual mag on the table of contents page for a visual.
