Hey all

So I am starting a new build
I picked up a 73 2 door sedan project car just a roller no motor or transmission
it was a central California car its whole life
Assembly Plant Van Nuys, CA then originally sold in antelope California
and then resold to the second owner in Sacramento California that started it as there project car
and well that's where I picked it up
it was a 350 2bb and guessing a th350 she is a little rough and needs some metal work but not to bad
this is my first Nova but not my restoration project so I will have questions
I will post progress picture as I go

Hello and welcome to the site! I'm looking forward to seeing the progress of your build... and you'll find a lot of helpful members on SNS willing to assist with questions you may have. Don't forget about the search community section in this forum... tons of useful information there.

When I ran a turbo 350 trans in my 74 Nova, it had the short tail housing (6")... for an overall length of 27 11/16" (same transmission length as my current 2004R).
That was my guess but wasn't 100%
Thanks much

Don

Oooooooo , any engine compartment foto(s) . . . . ?

Welcome to the board tho . . . Looks like it ll be a fun one

Esp putting that front end together . 73 /74 parts arent that bad to locate except the filler panel ( one between the grille and bumper )

May have some piece(s) but i do know a few people that could help putting one together if needed . . .

Looks like a solid start. What's your overall plan for the car?
Just to build a nice solid driver that the wife can drive and play at the drag strip a few times a year
