Howdy,
I recently acquired a '72 SS. It has bucket seats but the seat belts have been removed. They didn't leave the bolts either. I bought some belts and a set of bolts but I don't know which bolt goes where. The bolt set is for all 4 seat belts but I'm only installing the front ones for now. They are all 1/2 inch coarse thread, two are shorter shoulder bolts and the rest are longer, some with shoulders, some without.

Help?

Thanks,
'karma

The shouldered bolts are used where the end of the belt needs to pivot.
The bolts without shoulders are used to bolt the end down tight. A retractor on the floor would use non shouldered bolts since it should not move.
length can be determined by the number of ends held by one bolt.
