We put new pins and bushings in the doors and rehung them Saturday...however the drivers door still has slop in it. The lower bushing on that side went in much easier than the top.. I'm assuming the lower hole is possibly "wallered" out???? anybody ran into to this previously?

Thanks

Tim

just a thought but if the hole is oversize could you not have it welded closed and then re-drill to the proper size.

But to answer your question if the old pins and bushings were really worn its isn't unusual for the hole in the hinge to become worn as well.

Hey Tim

Very common for the holes to get worn or elongated. You can get oversize bushings to fix the problem. The pin hole is the same just a thicker wall on the bushing.
