Hello all,

Well I was on my way of putting in the stock crossmember on my Nova which a few suggested would work if I moved it back. Nogo it doesnt clear the floorpan since there are humps for the crossmember to clear. So Im looking at the different crossmembers and im trying to decide which one is best. Here are my choices I see so far.

summitracing crossmember (aka gforce crossmember) : $214.16

Claims to clear true dual exhaust and look the strongest.

cpp tubular crossmember: $181.95

bowtie overdrives tubular crossmber:$175.00

Im leaning towards the Summitracing (gforce) since it seems like it will stiffen up the chassis and seems to give the most clearance. The other two crossmembers look ok but not sure if I could run true duals. As of now I have 2 1/2 inch exhaust going in.

Im so ready to get this thing running and this is the only thiung holding me back. Thanks for your feedback.

Here is my current progress so far.

C5 brakes and afx tall spindles with 17 inch wheels.

Just a slight jaunt off topic... If I remember my 3rd gen Camaro parts, I think the 700r4 and the T5 used the same crossmember and driveshaft, therefore the same crossmember and driveshaft for converting a Nova to a 700R4 should be useable for a T5 as well. Am I correct or not?
