No, the factory tach was not available with a bench seat.

The factory tach was part of the RPO U17 Special Instrumentation Package. It placed the tach on the left side of the instrument panel (in place of the gas gauge). The gas gauge was re-located down onto a 4-gauge cluster on the front part of the console. It also included an oil pressure gauge, temperature gauge, and ammeter. But this package required the D55 console which in turn required the A51 bucket seats.

There was never a factory tach option located on the right side of the instrument panel (in place of the clock). However, a company called ShiftWorks does sell an aftermarket tachometer that is designed to mount directly in place of the clock (or clock block-off) on the right side --> https://shiftworks.com/collections/nova-products/products/1968-74-nova-tachometer
