I have a '70 Nova 2 door and I'm working on the doors and 1/4 windows (fuzzies, weatherstrips, etc). I have a set of factory tinted windows (rear, 1/4, door, and vent) that I would like to replace the original clear windows with.

Here's my issue. The tinted 1/4 window guides are busted/missing, but my original clear 1/4 window guides are in good shape and they (the chrome pieces that the guides are attached to) are loose/will come of the glass.

Are there seals/gaskets available to re-install the window guides onto the tinted windows? IF not, what would be a good adhesive/??? to use?

Scott,

Just google glass setting tape and you will find what you need. I ordered mine from restoration specialties out of Michigan. They can also rebuild your vertical quarter window channels and still keep the guide. They just did mine and they turned out great. Very reasonable price.
