Did the 69 SS 396 Nova come from the factory with a front sway bar? If so what was the Dia. and are they avaliable thru any of the restoration companies?

Yes and it was 7/8" in diameter

Wasn't that swaybar 13/16?I just measured one that I have from a 1969 396 car and it is 13/16.

I just went and measure my bars they are both 11/16" these are BB cars and I'm assume they're original.

There are 2 part #'s for 69 one with special performance suspension front and rear and one without, so I read it as all V8's were the same unless you had F41 heavy duty suspension.

3955782 is the part# for all V8

3955778 is for all w/special performance front and rear susp

Which options on a 69 SS 396 Nova would you have gotten the F41 suspension? What is the F41 suspension? Why was it avialable? Thanks
