'68 Nova engine 230 to 283

Hello guys, I'm newer here. Glad to know you.
I have a '68 Chevy Nova II, 4 door, 6 cyl 230 powerglide, original drivetrain. A friend offered a 283 engine, so I'm thinking in change the old 6 cyl for this V8. I would be grateful if someone here could answer some doubts:
- The 6 cyl powerglide will work nice with the 283? I need to modify something in the powerglide?
- And the rear drivetrain, my car has stock single leaf spring and differential (I don't know the ratio or type of the differential), would they support the V8 torque?
- What are the parts than I need to change in this swap? Front springs? Radiator? sometihing more?
I'm from Brazil and here is difficult to find a V8 powerglide or V8 Chevy parts. I'm not looking for performance, the reason is than I prefer the V8 engines. :)

I think the engine change will work just fine for you.

GM put the powerglide behind the V8, so that should not be a problem.

Rear gears are a matter of choice and a stock 283 does not have enough torque
to harm them.

Of course you will need V8 motor mounts.

Motor mounts aren't a problem, small parts I can buy at Ebay.

Of course you will need V8 motor mounts.
You will need to take off the six cylinder motor's mounting plates and get V8 units well as the matching V8 motor mounts.
Your Six cylinder powerglide needs a V8 torque converter too.
Other parts to replace:
Radiator
Front suspension springs
Exhaust headers must be for Nova
