The grille actually needs a hole drilled 1.57" over from the left edge to properly locate the emblem.

UPC 11-13 Sheet B6 in the assembly manual

Don't forget to paint the vertical bars on the grille black, SS cars were painted this way.

I want to put it on my 72. The original SS emblem does not look good now on the middle. I need an SS emblem that fits between the polished bars.

Now that I understand what you are asking for...I will try to remember to measure the emblem this evening.

The picture of your car just made me realize, I don't need a lift in my garage, I need a pit! And it could double as a storm shelter. We had tornados in the area last night, I don't have a storm shelter so the only recourse is to go outside and see where it's at and hope it isn't headed my way.

BTW, it missed me!

(Sorry it's not in mm).

Over all length: 10 3/4"
Width of the SS end: 1 1/2"
Width of Nova end: 11/16"
Length of just the SS badge: 4"
