Morning all,

I need some guidance from you experts. I have a 67 (2 door no post). Rust well it chewed up the entire trunk, drop off, wheel wells. I don't think the rockers are too bad tho. I purchased the Chassisworks front clip then discovered just how the damage was to the trunk. A few years later I purchased the Chasisworks Canted rear frame. Now I have to cut the spring pockets out to finish the install and I'm not sure where I should support the shell? Anybody cut the floor out and supported it by the rockers?
Thanks guys

I replaced the frame rails, partial quarters, and wheel tubs in my 66. Rear axle was out of car. I used an appropriate length of 4" X 4" lumber on jack stands supporting the car in the kick up between the rear seat and the trunk. I also tried the lumber/jack stands under rockers just forward of where the leaf spring mounts are. Found that to have a wee bit more flex than the kick up location.
I also put a screw jack under the center of the tail panel for a bit more stability.
