I have what I was told is an original power brake booster for a 67'. I am confused as to how the booster is attached to the firewall. Is there a bracket that interfaces the two. Looking at the Classic Ind catalog the booster has three mounting bolts and the unit I have is the same. The foot pedal bracket mounts through the firewall with two bolts that mount the non power master. Anyone have a pick that shows how the factory mounted the power booster?

There is a plastic plug below the master that you remove, then a bracket is used from the 3rd stud off of the booster that goes to the pedal assy.

Oh, so does that mean that the upper two bolts on the booster go through the fiewall where the manuel studs come out, thus lowering the push rod and master lower?

Thats right. Also the 3rd stud hole has to be drilled or knocked out on the firewall below the large openong the plastic plug is covering
