Impressive. I really like the way the dash turned out. I had decided to live with the under dash set up with my VA. Now you have me dissatisfied again. Thanks a LOT !

The dash looks great! You have come a long way, man you do good work
Thank you, Utterson, much appreciated! I can’t take credit for all of it as I’ve had some help from my body shop but it coming around and I’m very happy with the results.Going back, I wouldn’t do it any differently.

Thank you and sorry ‘bout that! lol. I struggled with it only because I knew it would cut into my budget for other items that I need but ended up doing it partly because I knew it was now or never. It’d be hard to make those mods to a car that was mostly complete without a lot of extra steps. I will say it’s worth it on the backside for anyone considering it.

I got the Nova back from the body shop today. Excited to get started on the next steps. I couldn’t help but throw a few things on the dash to see how it was gonna look. This should keep me busy for awhile! Here’s some pics...

The firewall looks Great. I'm currently waiting on my body man to fill the holes and paint mine. I can only hope it turns out close to yours.

Here’s some pics of the bottom. I’ve still gotta seam seal the underside, install the drain plugs, then scuff and paint it before I can spray the Raptor Liner. I wanted to lay out the brake and fuel line routing (green tape) to get an idea how I wanted to route them and where to put the clips, etc. This is just a rough sketch, so to speak but makes it easier to visualize. Once I’m happy with it, I’ll get the lines bent up and then get my battery mount and fuel vent mocked up.

Thanks, Railroaderman, they did a good job. For me, there’s some things that are better left to the professionals. No doubt yours will turn out just as good!

Dang she lookin great!

T,
Thanks guys, I appreciate the compliments! Seeing it all one color and being able to move on to some of the “fun stuff” has really revitalized my motivation!

Bedliner’s on and 2 hours worth of masking ripped off in less then 10 minutes! Hard to tell much of a difference in the pics. Covered the lower portion of the firewall in bedliner as well and got some Dynamat installed on the roof...makes a huge difference in taking some of the “tinny” sound away. Thanks for looking!

Some more progress. Got the Quadralink in, body off the rotisserie, front subframe mounted and loosely hung the front sheet metal to see what it looked like. Not bad for a day’s work. Here’s a little photo dump...

Shane its looking great have you decided on a exterior color do you have all the LT issues figured out.
Thanks Steve, I’m not 100% decided but leaning towards black pretty hard. Nothing metallic or pearl, just a good clean Tuxedo black or similar. Another contender is a dark burgundy. I’ve already committed to a black interior since the dash, etc. is now painted. I think I’ve got all the LT parts figured out at this point unless something jumps up and bites me. I’ll post some details when I put the engine in.
