Hey guys, I am starting to plan my build for my 67. I could us some help on the choice for my front sub frame. I am planing on putting in an LSx 454 with the dry sump from the corvette. Has anybody done this here? If so, what front clip did you use and was there any clearance problems with the dry sump set up? I have been told by Lemons headers that the alston front offers a little more room then the Heidts front sub. My tranny choice is still up in the air. I am going with a 4 link in the back with mini tubs.

Why wouldn't you go with a TCI front end with the LS engine mounts. I researched and priced out all the front clips for my 67 Chevy II and for the money TCI offered the best product. The Chris Alston front clips are nice and reputable but were a lot more expensive. I also have been happy with the customer service at TCI. If you call them and ask for Al, the VP, and tell him what you are doing he will steer you in the right direction. I bought the MII front end but am putting in a non LS engine. They have two front clips available for the 67's and both are available with LS engine mounts.

TCI Pro-T, Rear TA with Church Boys Headers not sure about the LS7 dry sump and the cross member why not just run a F body pan with a ported LS pump ? are you road racing ? why complicate your build for a street car don't over build.

Rear do the TCI TA

What is you intent with the car. Highway only or autocross? Highway use any number of clips currently available will work fine. I have a Heidt's front under the car I just bought and ride quality is great. If your planning some serious track time, spend the coin and get DSE all the way.

The car will be street strip driven. The car is going to be injected with a Kenne Bell 4.2 supercharger.
