I picked up a real nice 1966 hood moulding and I want to redo the paint to make it look like new. Has anyone done this and if so, what colors did you use? Any pictures of ones that are repainted would be appreciated. Bob, Ric, Frank...

I mixed some up using testors model paint to get it close to the right colors and they came out nice on the sons 66. Need to clear coat after it dries to keep from fading. I was also thinking of using some of that "One Shot" pinstripers paint - Eastwoods has a small kit - but it seemed overkill for the amount of paint I'd need.
