Hi everyone.

I tried searching but could not find what I was looking for. Can anyone tell me how the chrome trim at the top and bottom of the interior door panel comes off? Is it attached to the door panel. I think the door panel is held on with clips that take that special tool. Any help would be great.

Thanks

Yes they are attached with screws to the door and the trim panel is secured with clips can't remember how many 2 ?forward and rear of door. The panel should flex enough to slide the trim out of the chrome strips once the ends have been popped out with a trim panel removal tool .Be careful also you might find a weatther sheet to protect the trim panel from the elements. You will also need a tool to remove the cranks !

I think there are at least 3 clips on the front and rear. You will need to remove the door handle, window crank, and arm rest base. Then carefully locate the clips on the front and rear and pop them loose from the door. Then slip hand in between door panel and door and carefully flex until upper edge of door panel comes out of the stainless retainer.
