I need to swap front sub frames on my 67. Motor, Trany etc is all coming out of my 66 that already has all the suspension upgrades.
Is it better to pull the motor/tranny first or is it just as easy to do it with the motor in? Just trying to same myself a few Saturdays of work. Headers also?

Any opinion from those that have done the swap?

If it was me...I would pull the engine,trans and do it right. Can you safely do the swap with engine in place? Up to you, but I would do the extra work and pull the drive train. Just my .002

I would definitely pull the engine and trans out first. You can roll away the front clip when unbolted but it would be awkward doing it with the engine and trans.
