That's a Canadian cowl tag. The car was built by GM Canada in Oshawa, Ontario. The seller obviously doesn't know what he has. The production figures given are U.S. There were only 286 V/8 SS Novas built in Canada in 1965. Also doesn't know that there were no L79 Chevy IIs in 1965 in either country. Zero '65 rare side trim on this car.

1968- up cylinder heads... If I was to guess, probably a 350 of which he was told that is was an original 327. It's obvious that the seller does not know much about Chevys, let alone decoding the block stamping and casting info.


The carpet would be the 1st thing to go! The color reminds me of a bathroom throw-rug...
