Does anyone have any pictures of their stock 65 front subframe. Needing to compare ours with original to see what has been modified. Thankyou.

Here's an idea. How about you post up some pics of your front subframe and we can see what's been modified?

Where do you think the modification is?

So , jimys72 . . . . . . . posting up pictures here to SNS - - - IS Very easy too do

(kinda better , than using "Attachments " ; but either way works . . . . .

Look here @ post # 20 .

Maple Street Hot Rods | Chevy Nova Forum (stevesnovasite.com)

plus , you can post several photos = in the same post ................. then , If loading a picture ;
While it's "loading" , scroll down just a bit - - - - you will see a " precentage number " ....................
wait until it's done , before going too the next picture . . . . . (y) .

I hope this will help . . . . . again , easy to do . . . .

later , jim

This is one area. Where the steering box is located. Looks like frame was cut for clearance.

Well . . . . my T 5 - - is a Borg / Warner T 5 from a 93 GMC S-15 truck (from behind a 2.8 V-6 ) .
The T56 trans is a bigger tranny .
Mine fit just like your trans = using a stock " 403 " GM bell housing , (a 9 o'clock position clutch
arm hole) , and all stock 3rd gen clutch linkage . Even tho , it's a 93 model ;
it was 'cast in '92 . . . . which makes it mount just like a
Muncie or Saginaw . . . . . . . bolts right up . . . . . . no adapter plate needed .

Working Great , behind my 250ci Six . (I'm using my stock 3.08 rear gears .
