64 wagon rear quarter window instal

Does anyone know how the rear quarter windows install on a 64 wagon. I was told they were just “slip in” style. I went to instal them and noticed these little bracket/staples in the top where the seal goes. Not sure what they are, does anyone know. Pic attached

Those staples were from the original headliner. Your glass goes into the rubber and you insert the window into the frame of the quarter panel. The factory used like this caulking glaze that held it in place before they put the inside brackets on. I used dum dum it comes in a roll also known as mort tite.this works like window glaze but it's a putty. You should have 4 brackets 2 big ones on the bottom small on the top. Hope this helps

That does help very much, I’m glad those ended up being headliner staples and not something for the windows, I guess I’ll look into getting that dum dum. Does that stuff go anywhere else window wise, or just those 2 quarters?
No just the bottom of the quarter windows to raise to meet the upper small window brackets.
