I started to put my firewall pad in and haven't been able to figure out how the flap on the left side is installed. It's directly above the wiper motor opening. I couldn't find anything to do with the firewall pad in the assembly manual either. Does anybody know how this thing is supposed to go in?

Mine raised up until the ear on the lower end fit into a hole. I'm not sure how it supposed to go but it looks right. HTH Mike

Do you mean raise it all the way up to the underside of the dash? I'll have to try again and see if I missed something...

It lays over the top of the wiper motor. Keeps wiring and such from wrapping up in the motor.
