Car currently has 1966-ish 283 and 4 speed, rear sump oil pan with homemade engine mounts. Going to do the conversion properly with front sump pan. Question is do the mounts i have in the picture work with the front sump pan? They are sold with the rear sump conversion kit only but I cant see why they would not work with the front sump set up. Does anyone have a pic of these installed?

The mounts wil work with either pan. IMO ; I'd stay with a rear sump pan... better pickup location and more reliable.

what he said front or rear these will work , it's the steering linkage that makes the difference in pans

short mount on the passenger side , long one on the driver side to clear the steering box

They will work. I have heard from multiple people they have had problems with the aftermarket mounts fitting. You may need to make some adjustments
