Anybody have good pictures of the neutral switch set up on a stock floor shifted powerglide? I have a car missing everything and would like to see what is supposed to be there.

No pics of the original style set-up, but I will state that it worked poorly at best. It had one switch (neutral safety) activated by one rod and a second switch (back-up lights) activated by a second rod. The rods easily became bent and/or out of adjustment.

The only simple, solid, (& low cost) conclusion that I have been able to come up with for at least the NS switch was to fabricate a bracket that mounts to the tailshaft utilizing the shifter mounting locations. The bracket holds a simple push-button switch that gets activated by the butt of the shift rod when the car is in park:

^^^ pricey sucker, huh!?

looks nice though. ;)
YES & yes.

I've seen a few NOS ones as well in around that same price range. I beleive 63-64 Impala SS used the same unit., however I'm not a big fan of NOS electrical components for obvious reasons.
