63 Nova multi leaf spring with stock shock

Hello, I am a new owner and I have a 63 Chevy 2. The person I bought the car from put multi springs in a mono spring perch. He then tightened the u bolts so much it bent the heck out of the shock mounting plate. I bought an aftermarket AFCO mounting plate and also spacers for the multi spring but the mounting plate is made for a shock that mounts straight up not to the center of the car like stock shock does. Does anyone know of a mounting plate or adaptor that will allow me to use the plates with a stock shock as it will need to be mounted on an angle and not straight. also I don't want to buy 160 dollar shocks for the car and would like to use a stock shock.
