i knew i was close 75 lbs is actual weight but man my hood felt like it was 100 or so lbs i lifted it off by myself and carried it maybe 2 feet and then blammo there went the back when i got the fiberglass hood i was in heaven what a difference newit was gonna be lite but wow
I took mine off my 65 myself. I don't think it's 75lbs or my back would've been out. But I will say my Glasstek is lighter. WHOOPEE. By the way, my 65 flat hood is for sale. Dave
Are you competitively racing? If you want the straightest finish, stick with steel. If you require a glass or carbon hood I'd recommend one that allows use of the stock hinges etc. Pin on hoods are a real hassle unless it's a track car only.
