I have a 63 Chevy II 2dr HT

I acquired a set of 63 buckets to replace my bench. The floor mounts have me baffled. The bench seat mounted near the driver and pass door with no mounts near the trans tunnel (required for buckets). I don't see the mount holes for the inner mounts. Also, the front inner brackets are appx 3 inches from reaching the floor. Were the floor pans different for bucket seat cars? Is there a sheet metal adapter available similar to the 4-speed floor dome? Does anybody sell the repop bucket seat slide aseemblies for the seat mounts? Anybody encountered this before?

No, the floor pans are not different on bucket seat cars. I believe that you will need THIS PART from Chevy 2 Only to install your seats, or fabricate something like it.

thank you for your prompt reply. So perhaps the factory pinch welded a similar adapter? Do you have any leads on the seat track (slide) assemblies for the 63? I checked Chevy 2 Only and the 1966 brackets look different than mine (I only have the slide assy on one seat. I assume the pass seat should have a slide to make both seats the same location after the driver finds its home??
