Just picked up a 63 nova II and the clutch cable broke. I have searched this forum and the internet with no luck finding one. Thanks

You need to look A little closer,Novas use a mechanical linkage not a cable. The most common failure is what's called the Z bar,there reproduced or you could probably find a good used one here

This one has a cable from a Vega according to the paper work i got with the car but there isnt any part number. I want to just try and find another cable to get through the summer then this winter make it mechanical.

sounds like something Mickey-Moused...

if it's a Vega cable then you'll have to try and locate one... looks like a 14808 Dorman cable

When you change it back be sure and reinforce the arms on the z-bar. You don't want to break down in Missouri, like I did, on the Power Tour.

FWIW, the Vega bellhousing is different than the Nova bellhousing, which is an animal all to itself.
There is a 6 cyl (small hole) and a v-8 (large hole) bellhousing made for Nova's that has the clutch arm at 7 o'clock.
I'd bet that something was modified at the pedal end of the works for the cable attachment, also.
