Convertible restoration

Your problem is indicative of a convertible with a lack of support in the inner rocker area and or floor braces.
If that is the case, you should not drive the car. If the top is up leave it that way. The car will need to be braced with the floor supported in such a way to even up the gaps.
Is the windshield cracked? If not it probably will crack if you drive the car and the droop will get worse until the doors will not open.
I'm not a body man and have never repaired a convertible in this condition. I have seen cars with this problem and I have walked away and would not buy one.
