Have a 65 and a nice 350 motor with Sanderson headers sitting next to it ready to install.

SNS Member is selling me his V8 mounts (thanks Mike) but another Member mentioned using special engine spacers to help with clearance issues?

Do I need these? Who sells them?
Everyone has put a V8s in, what do I look out for?

Not sure what spacers are needed, with V8 frame mount and the correct mounts it should fall in place like it came that way from Chevy.

Just did that on my 67. I used aftermarket v8 frame mounts and used no spacers. Fit just fine. I'm going to use a small body distributor which should be fine, but I've read that some who use the HEI distributor have had some clearance issues.

no spacers then...

So that Member might have had other issues?...I am going to go with safe and sane route V8 Mounts and good set of Motor Mounts off the Shelf (if USA made).

Im looking into a small body HEI or a converted stock dizzy with Crane insides to handle that ...
