i am looking at buying a 454 that needs a sleeve on the #1 cylinder because it dropped a valve.do 454's sleeve well?will it last or should i bore it to .60 over?

Big blocks and sleeves work fine, I have a 454 with one and beat on it all the time. You can also bore most big blocks .120 with no iff effects.

the guy sid it dropped a valve and might hone out???what is the cheapest way to go?its a 454,.30 over,10.4:1 comp,ported/polished heads,air gap intake.ran 6.30's in a 74 nova.
