I am in the process of getting my '72 Nova going again. I was not happy with the way it idled and ran before with a 750 Edelbrock carb. I am looking at going with a 750 Holley this time around. Since the car has a healthy 408 sb and an Th350 trans I will be going with a vacuum secondary carb. Any feedback on which might be better would be appreciated. I also want the simplest carb to adjust and maintain.

If you want vacuum secondary that is the 4160. The 4150 is the mechanical. I always had good luck with the old 3310 750.

After owning a few vacuum carburetors I just don't see it any more. I've never seen a comparison where the mechanical didn't out perform the vacuum carburetor. I'd highly advise going non vacuum double pumper if originality wasn't wanted.

They have 4150 with vacuum secondary. 4160's don't have the secondary metering blocks were the 4150's do.
