New member here... picked up a Heidt's 4 link for my 67 HT 12 bolt and was wondering if it is mandatory to tilt the tube bracket 2 degrees as stated in the installation instructions. Wouldn't i have enough adjustment in the 4 link to correct for this?

Most 4 links are of similar design. Adjustable for pinion angle to a degree.

TCI guy has a great point, the coil overs have a poly or rubber bushing top and bottom that will allow some "angle" but work best at right angles to the mounting bolt. Binding due to mounting angles is bad.

I have a Heidt 4 link in my 67. Works good. I bought the 9" with brackets installed from heidt. I'm not chassis expert figured they would know and it went right in.

Get the 12 bolt at ride height under the car, squared to the car and wheels/tires in position fore and aft (navy talk) pinion angle to match slightly lower than the engine angle. Burn the brackets in and then use the 4 link to fine tune.
