Do you know if they build the 190 heads with the dual roller springs?
I only see the 210 heads with roller spring set up.
That is why I was leaning towards the 210's

Thanx

call Tony Mamo at AFR, he's working on a new 210 head that is supposed to flow like crazy with really killer low-lift numbers.

Super Chevy built a 355 for their Danger Mouse project. Back in the Dec 2004 issue they used Edelbrock E-Tec 170 heads w/64 cc cumbustion chambers. They also used and eddy roller cam installed @105 deg intake cl (234/238 @ .050), .574/.584 lift and 112 lobe sep. With 10:1 cr, that thing made gobs of low-end torque. Perfect for a street motor. Even for your 383, this would be a great set-up. I think 210/76 cc heads might be too much volume for your cam on the street.

I called AFR and they will install roller springs on the 195cc heads.
I think that is what I will go with.
The tech person I talked to said the 210cc heads would work if I increased the compression to about 12:1
I don't want that much compression for my set-up.

Danger Mouse Build

I was wondering if you could email me a copy of the Danger Mouse build as I would like to replicate it.

the 210's will work. Will the 195's work better? yea. Hell I know a guy who has 230 cc runners on his 355. It works.:D

It's a temporary deal. He is going to a much larger shortblock next year.

PS wanna sell the 210's?
