just got to kicking it around today at work, and wondering who on this site has the fastest N/A 350 sbc. Open to the newer generation of motors (LT-1, LS-1), as long as it's naturally aspirated. I just thought it'd be really interesting to read. i know the mantra "there's no replacement for displacement," but who here's doing "the most with the least?" I'll start:

60' : 1.628
330: 4.723
1/8: 7.355
mph: 92.44
1000: 9.663
1/4: 11.622
MPH: 114.75

i know there's plenty faster here! speak up!

60' : 1.750
330: 5.011
1/8: 7.732
mph: 89.90
1000: 10.107
1/4: 12.128
mph: 111.21

oops i forgot im running a 360 c.i. ( 40 over 350 with 5.7 rods and 3.48 stoke crank ) and this is not the fastest mph ive gone ive also been 115.87

Last month I went 10.70 @ 126.+ with my 355, no Nitrous. That was with a 1.51 sixty foot time.

I think it is only appropriate to post your cars weight with a driver to put things into perspective. That and gearing and tire size and trap rpm. I feel bad my car only goes so fast and you guys have smaller engines

Old Brodix Track 1, Victor 4+4 intake, solid roller, 850 Holley, and 12:1 comp. Standard stuff.
thats a good combo lou!!

My old 355 in my 64 went best of [email protected]
LT-1 shortblock, 11 to 1 pistons
pink rods, steel crank
pocket ported 461's
Dema Elgin solid flat tappet cam, .470" with 1.5's
250*at .050" on a 105 LSA
victor jr intake w/ 850 dp
hooker super comps, 1 3/4" w/ 3" exhaust
th350 w/3500 stall converter
4.11's, 26" tall slick
3200# with driver.
at the time all steel car with ralley wheels.

honestly I wished I could have ran the car at the track when I put on a set of 292 turbo heads and a bigger crower solid flat tappet cam. That combo would have easily been in the 11.40 range at about 118-120.

that's last year's set up. it weighed 3280 with me in it this year after removing about 150lbs, so i figure race weight on this setup at 3450. i changed to caltracs/ranchos on the rear and moroso drag springs up front this year, but so far have been fighting fuel delivery and transmission issues (no spin but bad 60ft times).
