Anyone know of an exhaust kit part number they used that i can buy so i can run tailpipes over my rear axle?
Mine are dumped before the rear axle right now and it is too loud
I'm looking for 2.5 inch tips, thanks!
Two local exhaust guys can't do mandrel bent 2.5 inch pipe so I just figured I try to buy a kit and have them welded on.

Sure you can find them from YearOne, Classic or Chevy2Only. I just googled it and found

I've found some on jegs and summit just looking to see if someone had experience with one specifically for these cars and liked it.

Heartthrob exhaust in Minn. is where I got my 2.5" tailpipes, they fit perfect.:yes:

I have pypes 2.5 exhaust kit fits and sounds great!
On there web page they advertise single pieces and
various bends to build your own tail pypes!

thanks guys! I will keep this in mind.
I didnt even think of them, I browsed ebay, magnaflow and flowmaster websites before the recommendation for heart throb was given.
I just ordered from heartthrobexhaust.com a few minutes ago.
cant wait to get the 66 quieted down some! :yes:

I have the 2.5 mandrel bent flowmaster tail pipes on my 67 and they fit well.The are designed to run all the way to the bumper but can be cut to dump similar to stock.
