Bought some used headers for my 66 Nova. Bead blasted them and they are in amazing shape. The brand became evident after blasting….I find it interesting how the #3 tube comes under the rear of the oil pan and creates a void for the oil filter and zbar …

I’ve got the same headers on my ‘66. Worst part about them is the thin flange warps pretty easy so I’m always chasing exhaust leaks at the head. I’ve thought about cutting the flange off and welding on a new thicker one but it’s waaaay down on the priority list!

Sorry, likely won’t have the engine in for a while now. Busy with other projects...
Well let’s hope they sound good. Found a “scratch and dent” set on eBay for $450 so gave it a shot. Got them yesterday and other than the box being really beat up everything else looks fine. Well worth the savings from the ~$675 prices I’ve been seeing.
