i got a 63 with a sbc and i wam going to be putting a 2004r behind it and i am replaceing my floorboards at the moment and want to make sure i wont have any clearance problems with the trans, i know i wont have a length problem but i am wondering about the height

I haven't heard of anyone having to massage the trans tunnel to get a 200r4 to fit into a 1st gen Nova. I think you're safe. It's about the same size as a TH350.

How soon are you doing it?

Batman and I are both installing 200's in the next few weeks. We'll let you know.

My floor didn't need a BFH to get the 200 in my 2nd gen. Not sure on the 1st gens, but I can't imagine it would be an issue.
