Wondering where some people mounted their driveshaft loops on 1st/2nd gen cars. I have a universal that fits up in the tunnel nicely and am wonder where I should fix it to. There are two floor braces about 12-14" back from the trans (think they are seat mount points) that I could weld some plates to and bolt into, don't think just the floor sheetmetal bolting is a good place. Also have subframe connectors installed but would have to extend loop mounts to get them to the connectors. Any input/advice?

If you're racing, the rules state no more than 6 inches from the joint.
