Very nice car. Price is kind of up there for what it is, but that's what you can expect when someone sells it and lists how much everything cost to get there.
Whoever buys it: Please remove the tacky red valve cover wing bolts and floor mats.
The owner makes it clear this car isn't an original SS, so it didn't come with an SS 350 CID engine. According to the VIN, it was a 130 HP/307 CID. The seller refers to the engine as a 350, but doesn't make any mention of an engine swap. It's possible he doesn't know.
The VIN only tells you if the car was born with a 4, 6, or 8 cylinder. Where does it show which cubic inch displacement it came with? Also, the mighty 307 had a whooping 200 horsepower on day one.
As usual, Bob picked up on the subtle details. On '72 Novas, the 5th digit of the VIN tells you which engine the car was born with. In this case, that's an "F", which equates to a 307.
