The 1970 Nova was delivered and has found a new home. I have been surprised by both the good and the bad as I begin the journey to return the car to its original beginnings.
The good- born with L78, M21, 3.55 posi rear, born with booster and master cylinder, water pump and water pump pulley, build sheet and JMac certification. Runs strong.
The good and bad- California car- retains many of the emissions for CA but missing items will be hard to find.
The bad- door locks, replacement interior parts, no smog, wrong carb, wrong fan shroud and front shroud cover, wrong value covers, wrong distributor.
As a former owner of several mid year Vettes and 1969 Z/28 cars, I intend to slowly bring the car back to factory specs on all items which can be found and purcahsed for a reasonable price.
