Does anyone know if someone sells a crossmember reproduction for a 1970 nova with a 396, I heard they are different from the SB Nova crossmember?

If you have the th400 trans you need a special crossmember, available from J&W Nova.

If you have a th350, then yes it would be the same as from a SB nova.

I have a M21 manual transmission.

Well the main difference for the tranny crossmember in a BB car compaired to a SB car is the tranny mount is offset towards the passenger side of the car in a BB car. The SB cross member can be modified to work and its really just a matter of elongating(sp?) the tranny mount bolt holes slightly to allow it to be offset. My understanding is that the TH350, powerglide, and the manual trannies all used the same crossmember...there was a thread on another Nova site recently that disscusses this

The 1st Gen Camaro Crossmember will work.It is avaible Aftermarket throught Heartbeatcity and other Camaro Suppliers.
