Oh, I don't know. My 425HP SBC has TPI and my 700R4 lives just fine behind it. Now granted I switched to the Holley TPI but according to Richard Holdener had I stayed with the stock TPI the torque curve would have been real close below 5000 I only exceed 5000 now and then..... 😁
