Ok, I mentioned in my intro that I was going to help my co-worker
with his 65 nova. Swapping out the 6cy for this 327 that he had for
many years.
So it begins.
I know: not another cam selection recommendation right, but I have
been mainly a Pontiac guy {sorry} for many years..
1966 327 .040 over
Thinking about doing the vortec head swap
For now just stock powerglide and gears. {not sure what they are}
Thinking about headers, and dual exhaust.
Single pattern cam or dual?
rpm range, maybe idle thru 5000
I have used comp cams in my Pontiacs with good results...
Cool sight here, I like it... thanks.........

if you like comp the 262/268 Xtreme energy cams look good

Forgot to mention if use one of these cams you have to mod Vortec heads to handle the lift. .450 is the max lift for stock Vortec heads
