Hello All,

My dad and I are finally doing a resto on our 66 2 dr hardtop. There is the typical rust issue around the bottom of the rear window, not bad at all but I want to make sure I tackle it before paint.

I did a search and did not see a thread on removing the back glass and stainless trim. Any help or guidance would be much appreciated by us.

Hello I pulled my back window out of my 66 post and what I did was use a flat blade and carefully pull the chrome out of the rubber then I use same blade and pushed the rubber away from the lip of the car and it will slowly pull out. Hope this helps.
