A rare SS wagon...again. Sigh. That one is like old home week for me, as I had a Tahitian Turquoise '65 Nova wagon. Love the color, and the car has a lot of potential. The original 6 on the stand? Either they forgot to count spark plugs, didn't show the 6 but showed an 8 instead and changed the fender tags?

If the rockers are solid, the tailgate on the car isn't. Most if not all of the trim is still there, they are making more and more stuff for '65s now, and it seems original enough still. Worth talking to the owner to see if all the floor is there, if there is rust on the tailgate opening portion of the body, or other rust. 400 series '65 wagons with V-8 seem to be getting pretty scarce, but I don't think they are $14.5K scarce, in this instance.

Buy it for the rear peak extensions alone?

That looks like a pretty good wagon, especially at that price.

I would like to own a 64/65 wagon, but have not been able to find one in or near Arkansas.
