Made up one perfect Console from two 4-speed consoles.
Top plate restored by Tom Migut of Des Plaines IL .
Chrome is absolutely gorgeous!
The correct finish on top plate is in fact a plated process and not painted at all.

Reproduction ss emblem and shifter bezel with cup and slider available through Chevy 2 only in KY.

Got lucky and scored a super nice clean no repairs or cracks base little clean and prep came out nice.

Of the 2014 total 4speed 65 novas and chevy II of which 324 where 250hp, 319 where 300hp, leaving 1471 either 283 4speed cars with bench seat or console in chevy II or Nova SS, wagons?
These are 2 rare consoles for 65 SS
*They differ from 66-67 as the front is longer at the bend under dash.

May have to restore the other one!!

Nice piece! You don't mention how many were lost to cracks or damage, or being cut to fit a Hurst shifter. Crazy rare part in show ready form.

The pictured done console base did not need repairs so that was easy....
the other base is pretty rough but Tom gave me some pointers on how to make the repairs.i am sacrificing a auto console to make the repairs I will post photos when i get to it or unless someone makes me an offer and wants to restore it.
Cheers Jm
